This new version with the aluminum side and back panels isn't quite as strong, but there isn't any other desk that can compete with this design. I'm 6'2", and the leg space is great for tall people who want to stretch back now and then and watch a movie on their comp. Also enough space under for Mid tower + Sub woofer. NOTE: I lowered 1 star, and say its risky because of the following: 1. During shipping the packaging isn't put together well enough and there was some cosmetic damage on one of the shelves... (they need more foam or something), so it's going to be hit or miss if you get any damage on your wood pieces. 2. The top sides of the aluminum pannels where you screw into the shelves, were all warped and bent... I had to manually bend them back... Still a great desk, design, size, etc. for our needs. I would recommend it. |
